Data Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2025
Peercise is built on privacy by design. This policy explains how analytics data is processed, stored, and protected within the Peercise platform.
1. Purpose
Peercise analyses anonymised user sessions to help you understand behaviour and improve usability. We focus on clarity, privacy, and compliance - not tracking individuals.
2. Data We Process
When integrated into your product, Peercise records:
- Anonymous interaction data (clicks, scrolls, navigation paths, dwell time)
- Technical data (device type, screen size, browser type, session duration)
- Optional custom events you define
We do not record names, emails, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information.
3. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all collected data. Peercise processes it only to generate insights and maintain service quality.
4. Storage Regions
Regional data storage is available for Business, Enterprise, and High Load plans. You may choose one of our regional data centres: New York, London, Frankfurt, Toronto, Singapore, or Sydney. Private cloud hosting is available only for High Load plans, providing full control over data location and environment. All regional and private deployments follow strict isolation and comply with local data regulations.
5. Security
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is tightly controlled and monitored. Regular reviews ensure ongoing security and compliance.
6. Retention and Deletion
Data is kept only as long as necessary to produce insights or as defined in your account settings. You can delete, export, or migrate data at any time.
7. Sharing and Access
Peercise never sells or shares your data with third parties. Access is limited to authorised personnel for maintenance and support.
8. Compliance
Peercise complies with GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent regional laws. Our analytics design avoids personal data collection by default.
9. Policy Updates
Any future updates will appear here with a new effective date.
